Finally, the day is here when EeeKeyboard, which is so far one of the most awaited keyboards in the history, is officially launched. The keyboard started its journey way back at CES 2009 and is expected to hit the market very sooner but it really took a long time but lastly, as we can see Asus finally gave a break to the patience of millions of potential users worldwide. Let’s not regret for delay as it at least arrived anyway!

The days are gone when Night Vision used to be limited within the accessibility of military Special Forces only because over the past couple of years it has become accessible for whoever wants to use it. In fact, even a person with small pocket can easily have access to this amazing feature if he/she is seriously interested. But, we could be on the threshold of a green-screen revolution if study taking place at the University of Florida, led by Dr. Franky So, comes to fruition. Dr. Franky along with his students are currently working on an OLED film which is a lot excited by infrared. Much to your surprise, the stuff’s multiple layers convert that light to a spectrum that is visible by our eyes, and if everything goes better as expected, it could be layered onto almost anything from normal glasses to car windshields.

If you are too eager to get yourself a ThinkPad netbook (Yes, I’m talking about original Atom-based, 10” Thinkpad), we have got some good yet bad news. Let’s start with good news i.e. Lenovo is indeed working on them. Well, the bad news is that you will need to enroll yourself in a school in New South Wales for having access to one. Yep, according to Lenovo, the product is meant for the Australian school district only. The netbook in accordance to sources features a 1024×600 10” screen rather than the original 11.6” one. Also, it boasts a 1.6GHz Atom N450 processor that doesn’t have as power as AMD Neo, which is being used in the X100e. However, you can expect your notebook to run for at least 2 more hours with the same 6 cell battery.

Sony recently quietly unleashed an all-new water resistant, wearable Walkman – the NWZ-250. It arrives in both 2 GB and 4 GB models, and the battery life is assumed to last for up to 11 hours in normal. With 43 grams of weight, it is probably best for even those weight very weight sensitive ears. They will be available in four difference colors including black, lime green, magenta and silver. The price you will need to pay for owning this tiny treasure is $60.
Not much satisfied with a mere electric skateboard? Well, it seems like some researchers at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Japan weren’t either as they are trying their best to come up with so-called “robo-skateboard” since last few months. With this upcoming invent, you are likely to travel around six miles per hour. Weighing in a whopping 33 pounds, robo-stakeboard will probably hit the outer-world by 2013 and the researchers till then will try to reduce its price to ¥100,000 (just over $1,000). Again, all we can do is wait and watch! Let’s hope someday we will finally get to ride on it.
